Warsaw opened its home calendar with a 25-9, 25-10, 25-7 roll of Huntington.
Melaina Hawblitzel paced the Tigers with seven kills, three aces and a block, Avery Hales had 21 assists, eight digs and three aces, and Kaylee Weeks added seven kills and two digs.
Warsaw added a 25-19, 25-14 JV triumph, fueled by Daihya Chupp’s 16 assists and seven digs, seven kills from Maggie Hollon and three aces each from Olivia Devenney and Claire Reichenbach.
The freshman squad from Warsaw capped the sweep with a 25-7, 25-14 final. Elena Chandler had four aces and two kills while Olivia Martinez also added four aces.
NorthWood 3, Mishawaka Marian 1
The Panthers made a statement with a 25-12, 21-25, 25-23, 25-13 win at the SAC on the campus of NorthWood High School.
Sophia Barber had 15 kills and 15 digs to lead the Panthers, while Macy Lengacher had 20 digs, three aces and two assists. Annika Bennett sent up 38 assists and Alana Lehman added 10 kills.
NorthWood’s JV edged out Marian 25-7, 24-25, 15-10. Emery Porter had 19 assists, Jessie Price had 25 digs and Tatum Evers had six kills in the win.
